When You Happened.

I used to love sleeping alone, being the queen of my bed. Then you happened.

I used to do many things on my own. Enjoying every bit of it – how it gave me the sense of strength and independence. Then you happened.

I never cried in front of anyone. I used to keep everything inside. Then you happened.

I built walls. A fortress so high to ptotect me from pain and wounds. Then you happened.

I was looking for a home. A sanctuary to where i belong. Then you happened

I had no faith in love, to me love was a fairy tale. Then you happened.

I used to keep what i feel to myself. Then you happened.

I used to hate the cheesy love songs. Then you happened.

I used to......
But then you happened.
You happened.
You happened.

And since that time....

... cheesy love songs finally make sense.

... every little thing you do draws a smile on my face.

... it turns me from a bitter person into a better one.

... i tear down every wall i’ve built though i know it will leave me unprotected.

... i start listening to my feelings and eventually my heart.

... i stop playing games and just let things happen.

... i don’t care about rules, terms and conditions anymore.

... i am willing to sacrifice precious sleeping hours just to talk with you.

... i look into each other’s eyes and the universe slowly fades away.

I’m in love... if you ask me ‘how could?’
Well i just know
And thats how i know that i love you. Yes, you.

You...

Someone who doesn’t hesitate to tell me that he loves me.

Someone who admits that he misses me.

Someone who is not afraid of my tears.

Someone who tells me that its okay to express my feelings.

Someone who can be honest with me even if it hurts.

Someone who trusts me with his secrets, even the dars ones.

Someone who believes in me.

Someone who’s willing to spend hours talking with me despite his crazy workloads.

Someone who makes time for me because he wants to.

Someone who never gets tired to tell me that i am beautiful.

Someone who looks at me with love in his eyes.

Someone who doesn’t only say ‘i love you’ but also ‘thank you for loving me’.

Someone who is proud of me and proudly tells his friends about me.

Someone who shows my pictures to his parents.

Someone who makes me laugh and puts those sparkles in my eyes.

And someone who does not fill me with promises or empty words but shows me what it means to love. Truly.

To someone who has taught me about love. To someone so special and so dearly loved. I love you, each and every day.
